I was fortunate to have Katherine De La Cruz as the therapist for my son. Katherine has been such a blessing to our family. My oldest son has been struggling with reading and she quickly assessed him and was able to customize a plan of action to get him caught up and back on track. Her technique is very engaging targeting his specific needs and my son seems to enjoy it very much. She is a Mom herself and is able to bring a nurturing and caring learning style to her students in her sessions. I have noticed that my son is now interested in reading books and loves to go to the library instead of saying that reading is so boring...lol.
